この1週間の出来事

10日ぶりの更新だ。

この10日間忙しくて、体はくたくた。

夜更新しようと思ってもすぐに眠たくなり更新ができなかった。ｍＯｍ

さて先週は日中も寒くて朝夕はストーブをつけていたが、この4日間は良く晴れて外作業がはかどった。

何をしていたかというと、まずは畑だ。

サツマイモをＧＷ中に植えたが、寒さで全滅したため再度苗を取り寄せて植えた。

暖かくなったから今度こそは無地でいて欲しいが、霜が心配だ。

そのため仕方なしにビニールのトンネルで覆っているが、日中は日がさすと暑くなりすぎるのでビニールを取らなくてはならず、けっこうこの時期は手間がかかる。

あと玉葱とジャガイモも植えた。

他にも夏野菜を植えたいけれどなかなか忙しくてできない。

今年は畑に関しては多くを期待しないほうがいいかもしれない。

 

長雨の後晴天が続いたので雑草も伸びだした。

仕方なしに1回目の草刈を行う。

なんせ敷地が５０００㎡ほどあるので草刈も2～3日かかる。

でも草刈は好きな作業だ。

一心不乱になり何もかも忘れられるし、終わった後これだけ綺麗に刈れたという満足感がある。

 

忙しくしているうちに今日から6月。

周りの田んぼは田植えが始まった。

北海道は規模が大きいので機械もでっかい。

１ｈａくらいの田んぼはあっという間だ。

 

我が家の今日の状態は、やっと屋根の断熱材の施工にかかれるようになった。

ただ屋根の上の作業なので、なるべく危険のリスクを減らすために庇に足場を作ったり、命綱を張ったりと作業環境を整えるのに時間がかかった。

屋根の断熱材は、カネライトの３種５０ｍｍを外側に、２種５０ｍｍを内側に付ける予定だが、金がないのでとりあえず外側だけになるかも？

いやぁ～、屋根の作業は緊張感もあるが絶えず足で踏ん張っているので疲れる。

作業が終わった後は足がガタガタで歩くのも辛い。

ましてや高所および閉所恐怖症の私にとってこれほど辛い作業はない。

ただ晴れている間に一気にしなくてはならないので、がんばるしかない。

 

以上がこの１０日間の状況だが、近頃はあっという間に時間が過ぎて行き自分自身がついて行っていないような気がするのは、歳のせいだろうか。
