屋根作業もいよいよ最終段階

現在気温は20度。

本州はかなり暑いみたいだからこちらは天国と言ったところか。

今日は昼から雨。

予定通りだったら、今日は西側の屋根が完成するはずだったのに・・・。

現在は屋根仕上げ材のガルバニウム鋼板の波板もはり終えたので、残すところ東西の庇の透明ポリカ波板をはるのみとなった。

先日の日曜日、作業の段取りを整理するため少し離れた位置から全体を眺めていると、透明ポリカをはった場合下の桟が透けて見えることに気が付いた。

そうなると色合い的に屋根の上部と縁が濃いグレーのため桟が浮いて見え、なんかすっきりしない。

そのため、急きょポリカをはる桟（垂木）に黒い色をつけることにした。

これで少し落ち着いたような気が・・・。

 

さて、1人作業の都合上屋根材を上からはった為、ポリカをガルバニウムの下に挟み込まなくてはならない。

両方とも32山（1山３２ｍｍ幅）の波板なのだが材質や厚さの違いからどうしてもすこし合わない。

ポリカのほうがすこし広い。

でもポリカは弾力性があるので無理やり縮めて挟み込んだ。

しかしポリカの上部を縮めたら下部も縮めなければだんだん上下が歪んでしまう。

この作業が思った以上に難しく、しかもポリカに傘釘を打つ前にドリルで下穴を開けなけねばならず、かなり作業に手間取る。

結局ポリカを無理やり縮めているので、膨らむところができポリカの屋根面がでこぼこになった。

でも気を取り直し２／３くらいははれた。

もう一度下のほうから屋根全体を見たとき、あまり気にならなかった。

まあ、こんなもんでしょ。
